Ready for more “Save Your Last Dance for me” Synopsis??

Read on if you are… forget it if you’re not….
Ok… I’ve been talking about Chang Ho and Yun Soo so much that I kinda missed out some other parts of the show…remember Zheng Tai Min, Hyeon Yu’s (Chang Ho) close friend whom he treated like a brother?? Well, Zheng Tai Min is all this while plotting to destroy Global Group (Hyeon Yu’s father’s company)… and Tai Min is also in love with Hyeon Yu’s ‘girlfriend’, Xiu Zhen… so after Hyeon Yu’s “death”… Tai Min carried on pursuing the Xiu Zhen…but failed…
Hyeon Yu’s sister, (they don’t share the same mother) Hyeon Ting likes Tai Min but he doesn’t really like her… Hyeon Ting’s character is too straightforward, and therefore she always get onto people’s nerves… that’s why she’s not really likable in the show… but actually, she’s OK… she just love to hurt people’s feelings with her words…
Hyeon Ting doesn’t like Hyeon Yu’s mother because she thinks that his mother seduced her father… Hyeon Yu’s mum was a mistress until Hyeon Ting’s mum passed away… Then only Hyeon Yu’s mum became the official second wife… (Pretty confusing huh..?? haha) Hyeon Yu was 7 years old then…
I mean I understand why Hyeon Ting is this way…she has to protect herself by being sarcastic … I bet she feels insecure because her real mum had passed away and if anything… all her father’s assets will be given to Hyeon Yu … not that she won’t have anything (her dad still loves her)… but then I’m sure she feels lonely that she has no one on her side...
Xiu Zhen… is still waiting for Hyeon Yu, not wanting to believe that he is dead… hmmm…very loyal…but too bad I prefer Yun Soo …

OK back to Yun Soo and Chang Ho (Hyeon Yu)…yes they reconcile!! They sent Yun Soo’s father to the hospital and later his father gave in and blessed their relationship…
then Yun Soo was told by his father the reason Chang Ho wanted to leave and work in the farm was because he told Chang Ho to… and Yun Soo made Chang Ho promise that he will never keep problems like this from her… and that they will confide in each other no matter what…
HAPPY HAPPY… Chang Ho then asked Yun Soo to open their letterbox… (remember the letterbox Chang Ho made for their love letters..) … and inside is a pair of necklace called the Promise Necklace… its pendant is a round shaped locket and can be opened… inside the locket is a roll of paper, on which the sentence “A promise under this fir tree…even though I can regain my memory, no, even if I regain my memory and go back to my own world, I will forever love you”
Chang Ho helped Yun Soo wear the necklace and told her that whoever takes off the necklace will be cursed… and the only way to break the curse is to memorize and read the sentence to the other partner…

GREAT!! Now both of them are together but things always have to go wrong right?? There wouldn’t be any drama if both of them just live happily ever after… right??
Yun Soo then took her dad to the hospital for check-up and her father found out that he had critical lungs cancer… he kept the news a secret and asked Doctor Shen to keep it a secret as well… meanwhile… Tai Min went to Dreaming Forest … he was supposed to get that piece of land remember?? Since his subordinates couldn’t do the job, he had to visit that place for himself… so he went there while Yun Soo and her dad was away and he was shocked when he saw Hyeon Yu (Chang Ho) alive and was standing happily in front of him… well at least the person he saw looked like Hyeon Yu because Tai Min realized that Hyeon Yu doesn’t recognize him…Tai Min then feel that his status is threatened…if that person is Hyeon Yu, then no one can know about this as it would ruin his plans to take over and destroy Global Group…
After the visit to Dreaming Forest, Tai Min immediately sought help from his friend to help him find information on what happened to Hyeon Yu… the results told Tai Min that Hyeon Yu, now Chang Ho, met with an accident and lost his memory… this confirms to Tai Min that Hyeon Yu is not dead, he just lost his memory… besides, when he actually think back…no one can actually confirm that the burnt body they saw was actually Hyeon Yu…Tai Min knew that action must be taken …he had to destroy Hyeon Yu…

Anyway in the meantime, Yun Soo’s father asked Chang Ho whether he had plans to marry his daughter… to which Chang Ho replied that he never thought of marrying Yun Soo because he wanted Yun Soo’s name to be proudly printed in next to his in his real family tree…meaning to say… that he wanted to marry Yun Soo with his real identity and with his parents blessings… Yun Soo’s father apologized for not understanding Chang Ho’s problem… and then suddenly Yun Soo’s father coughed blood… Chang Ho who sent him to the hospital soon found out from Doctor Shen that Yun Soo’s father had cancer…Chang Ho was also forbidden to tell Yun Soo as Yun Soo’s father do not want to upset Yun Soo before his death…
So Chang Ho decided to get engaged with Yun Soo… so that Yun Soo’s father can rest in peace knowing that his daughter is happily engaged to the one she loves…
Finally the day of their engagement!!! Sadly… that’s the saddest episode ever… I still cried when I watched that episode for the 3rd time… it was a sad episode because Yun Soo’s father died just after their engagement…
Sigh… then it was the funeral and all… and later Yun Soo and Chang Ho were admiring their wedding pics and Yun Soo told Chang Ho that she would be fine even though now her dad is gone because she still have him…

Then came Yun Soo’s birthday and unfortunately that day was also the beginning of the tragedy that hit her life…
That day started normal… Chang Ho was preparing Yun Soo’s birthday cake and present while Yun Soo went out to send her guests to the airport… Remember Tai Min’s plans?? Yeah… Tai Min sent his friend to pretend to be Hyeon Yu’s (Chang Ho) brother that had been searching for him for a year and tell Hyeon Yu that his mother is very ill and that he should go see his mother…
All this bulls*** is to trick Chang Ho (Hyeon Yu) to follow him to a boat where he will be taken to somewhere… (Not indicated in the show)
Chang Ho hesitated to follow but then after hearing his brother told him how much his mother had suffered because of him, he decided to go… then Chang Ho tried calling Yun Soo but failed because she left her phone at home… so he left her a message saying that a family member had came and he had to follow his brother out for a while…

So Chang Ho followed that guy and reach a quay…he was pushed into the boat and Chang Ho then knew that he was tricked… he fought his way off the boat…and ran and ran and BOOM!!!!!!!!!!!! Chang Ho was knocked by a car. The police came and that guy dare not go after Chang Ho anymore… Chang Ho struggled to stand and wanted to walk home but he was hurt and later he fainted… Yun Soo who got the message called Chang Ho and waited…
When Chang Ho woke up… he found his memory!!! But forgot what happened for the past year – that is the memory after he fell from the cliff, the memory of Yun Soo and Dreaming Forest!!…Great!!! now he forgot about Yun Soo who’s waiting for him all night at home… Chang Ho then flag down a cab and went back to Seoul to his house… Xiu Zhen and Hyeon Yu’s mother was shocked when they saw Hyeon Yu back alive…!!
Tai Min was even more shocked!! His plan to capture Hyeon Yu not only failed but he even helped Hyeon Yu regain his memory…
And if Hyeon Yu remembers seeing him at Dreaming Forest, Tai Min is as good as dead… Fortunately for Tai Min, Hyeon Yu, like I said lost one year of his memory … he had no idea what-so-ever happened during that year in Dreaming Forest…
Anyway after greeting Xiu Zhen and his mum, Hyeon Yu fainted…
In the hospital… where Hyeon Yu lay after his full body check-up…Xiu Zhen was right by his side, thanking him for coming back…yea …good for her…pity Yun Soo who’s still waiting…anyway the nurse then came in with Hyeon Yu’s possessions – the necklace and some other stuff… Xiu Zhen saw the necklace and read the piece of paper (the one with the promise)… and knew that Hyeon Yu had a sweetheart during that year… great!! She felt threatened… I mean obviously her position in Hyeon Yu’s heart is not very deep…haha…so she hide the necklace and never told Hyeon Yu or anyone about it…

Later, when Hyeon Yu’s father asked Tai Min to find out who took cared of Hyeon Yu during that year (to give them money as a token of appreciation), Tai Min found someone to pretend as Hyeon Yu’s guardian during that one year period … so Hyeon Yu had no idea that a girl named Yun Soo and her father actually took care of him during that one year…
Anywayz after this memory lost incident … Hyeon Yu agreed to help his father with the company because he feels that all those bad incidents that happened to him are God’s punishments to him for not listening to his father…and he also promised Xiu Zhen that he will be with her and take care of her because she had waited long enough for him…

But Yun Soo was also still waiting for him… waiting and waiting…. Crying and crying…And one year had passed!!! Yun Soo still have no idea what happened to her beloved Chang Ho… she thought that Chang Ho had returned to his family and didn’t come back for her because his family must be treating him very well… so she misunderstood Chang Ho for being cruel but then she’s still so in love with him and still misses him a lot…

Then she finally decided to let go of Chang Ho (yea right… as if she can)
So she burnt all the pics of them together… while burning pictures of her and Chang Ho, her best friend, Qiang Mi…came…
Now Qiang Mi actually appeared in the show earlier on but I didn’t really mentioned her… because she wasn’t really important earlier on… Qiang Mi is Yun Soo’s best friend… she grew up in Dreaming Forest but went to Seoul to work once she graduated (where does Qiang Mi work… haha… u guessed it…Global Group!!)… Yun Soo on the other hand, stayed in Dreaming Forest because she wants to take care of her dad and also because she doesn’t really like the hustle bustle of the Seoul….
I really like Qiang Mi’s character because she is really really really a good friend who would do almost anything for Yun Soo… Qiang Mi personality is fun and she’s just great!! When Yun Soo and Qiang Mi is together, they really portray the close relationship between two best friends…
Qiang Mi’s mum is also another character that I did not mention… Qiang Mi’s mum is like a very close family friend of Yun Soo’s father… and she’s like Yun Soo’s aunt…
Qiang Mi’s mum appeared a lot in the scenes in Dreaming Forest but she’s not really important… but she’s a really nice lady who always takes care of Yun Soo and her dad…
So yea …back to the story… Qiang Mi went home to visit her mum and of course Yun Soo, and saw Yun Soo burning all the pics… Qiang Mi scolded Yun Soo for not letting her have a look at Chang Ho first (Qiang Mi had never seen Chang Ho before… so she doesn’t even know that Chang Ho is actually her company’s president’s son)… so that night while chatting Qiang Mi invited Yun Soo to go to Seoul with her to sort of enjoy herself since Qiang Mi is on leave… at first Yun Soo rejected but later was persuaded by Qiang Mi’s mother…so the next day… Yun Soo went with Qiang Mi to Seoul and Qiang Mi brought her shopping … and Qiang Mi tried to set Yun Soo up on a date with her friend, Manager Pu… Manager Pu is another hilarious character… the joker of the show… Manager Pu is also Hyeon Yu’s very loyal and trusted assistant…
Anywayz, the date didn’t happen because Manager Pu’s zipper spoiled and when Yun Soo found out about the date, she actually misunderstood Zheng Tai Min, who was there at the café, as the person Qiang Mi set her up with … anywayz, after the embarrassment she left the café without waiting for Manager Pu…

And while leaving, she saw …who else if not her Chang Ho or rather now back to being known Hyeon Yu… so she ran and chase him…but by the time she was at the entrance… Hyeon Yu was already in the car and driving away from that hotel entrance… Yun Soo gave a chase but failed to catch up… obviously!! with those heels…??!! So she went back to the receptionist and asked for that guy’s information… can’t get any so she waited there until late at night…hoping that Chang Ho would appear there again…she waited there the whole night and Qiang Mi was worried because she had no idea where Yun Soo is and her phone wouldn’t get through… when Yun Soo finally got home (Qiang Mi’s house)… she told Qiang Mi that she saw Chang Ho…and Qiang Mi was really mad at Yun Soo for being so stupid to actually wait the whole night for him...

The next day at work, Qiang Mi’s company (Global Group) is getting ready for the shareholders meeting… because there was a shortage of one worker, Qiang Mi suggested to her leader, a lady who’s another joker in the show…this leader is those sort of annoying and fierce spinsters…haha…she’s also really funny… she loves to scold and complain… anyway, Qiang Mi then called Yun Soo to help out, knowing that Yun Soo is definitely waiting in front of the hotel yesterday… Yun Soo of course doesn’t want to as she wanted to wait for Chang Ho still …but had no chance to reject… so Yun Soo went… and luckily she did because that company is Hyeon Yu’s father’s and the event is the shareholders’ meeting…of course Hyeon Yu (Chang Ho) will be there….
So, when she was asked to buy medicine at the shop, she saw Chang Ho (Hyeon Yu) walking into the company… she ran and grab him screaming his name… she kept saying that she’s Yun Soo, but unfortunately he had no idea who she was… so he told her that she had mistaken him for someone else… then left…
Qiang Mi then found Yun Soo and then scolded her for taking such a long time to buy medicine… then they both went up and then Yun Soo heard a voice talking … a voice belonging to Chang Ho…. Yes Hyeon Yu was speaking in the meeting room and Yun Soo saw him through a gap in the door greeting all the shareholders… Yun Soo then asked Qiang Mi who that man was… Qiang Mi told her that that’s Kang Hyeon Yu, the president of Global Group’s son and the perfect man… every girl wants to date him…great!! Yun Soo felt really sad…how can she, a normal Yun Soo actually be with such a great man…Kang Hyeon Yu??…Still she wanted to know whether Kang Hyeon Yu is Chang Ho…so after the meeting she rushed to the parking, and ran in front of Hyeon Yu’s car…luckily Hyeon Yu stopped in time… haha

Anyway she told Hyeon Yu that she wanted to make sure of something… asked him whether he liked basketball and making stuff with wood (Chang Ho loves doing this two)… and Hyeon Yu, who was pissed at this girl’s (Yun Soo) stubbornness told her that he had never played basketball in his life and that he never made stuff with wood before…hearing this…Yun Soo went and grab Chang Ho (Hyeon Yu) and said while crying… “ It’s me Yun Soo, don’t you remember??” and when Hyeon Yu replied angrily that he had no idea who she was, Yun Soo slapped him…(one of my fave parts haha) …then she told him that … if he wants to forget her, she would forget him as well…

Then Qiang Mi’s leader found out that Yun Soo had slapped Hyeon Yu – the president’s son and was freaking pissed… haha… later Qiang Mi kind of suspected for a secong that Yun Soo is lying about Hyeon Yu being Chang Ho because she thought that Yun Soo just wanted Hyeon Yu because he is the director’s son…but Qiang Mi, being such a great friend trusted Yun Soo after that…

OK now Yun Soo was heartbroken as she thought Hyeon Yu purposely pretended that he doesn’t know her… she thought Hyeon Yu felt that she is embarrassing him now that he knew he’s the president’s son… so she decided to forget and let go Hyeon Yu (as if she can)… anyway she went back to Dreaming Forest and Qiang Mi’s mum, seeing Yun Soo a little different asked Yun Soo whether something was wrong and then Yun Soo confided in Qiang Mi’s mum about what happened in Seoul…about how she saw Chang Ho and that he didn’t want to admit that he knows her… Yun Soo then told Qiang Mi’s mum that she was over him but Qiang Mi’s mum knew better that Yun Soo was hiding her feelings… Yun Soo is actually really sad… Qiang Mi’s mum also wouldn’t believe that Chang Ho is such a cruel guy so she called her daughter, Qiang Mi and told her to investigate what happened to Chang Ho…
So Qiang Mi managed to dig out from Manager Pu that Hyeon Yu or Chang Ho had lost his memory of what happened that whole year…
After knowing this, Yun Soo decided to go back to Seoul, and maybe find back her “Chang Ho” in Hyeon Yu…She felt that Chang Ho had sacrificed a lot for her and that it’s time for her to sacrifice for him instead…
So off she went to Seoul, leaving her beloved Dreaming Forest behind, under the care of Qiang Mi’s mum…

Ok I guess that’s part 3… you want more, wait for part 4… haha
If you are fed up with my long long story…I’m really sorry… can’t help it… I’m like a grandma when writing…
